Lee Swindel has had an interest in woodworking since the 7th grade. The first project he remembers making was a table lamp which he turned on a wood lathe. It turned out so well that he was hooked from then on. Lee took additional wood classes in high school and college, and eventually graduated with a degree in Industrial Technology. He then taught Woodworking, Cabinetmaking, Drafting, Engineering Drawing, and Architectural Design Classes for 33 years. The last 20 years of teaching Lee incorporated the use of computers and the AUTOCAD Program to aide in the design of projects and buildings.
Lee has applied his skills and knowledge in the design of home construction and remodeling. Also he has had the pleasure of making numerous wood projects for personal and family use.
